rustbeltwhiskey: This is Charlie. He’s the most punx sock monkey ever. In his 16 years of existence, he has never had a bath. He’s yellowed from cigarette smoke, having beer spilled on him, and road trip grime. (I’ve taken him all over the world with me. My best Ali made him for me and when she couldn’t be with me he was the next best thing. And stuffed animals can be super comforting ok?) Check out his shirt. His favorite band is Furious George, cos, duh. Anyway, at the baby shower, which was sock monkey-themed, he lost an eye. Rather than giving him a new eye, I am going to make him an eye patch, cos that’s way more punx. (February 18, 2012)
